Exhibit nears completion

On Target: An exhibit called the Water Planet, about the sensitive connection between water and life, is nearing completion inside the new California Academy of Sciences.

The exhibit will feature hundreds of animals and interactive displays. A multimedia display projects nearly 100 aquarium tanks filled with fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects and other invertebrates onto the walls of the exhibit, changing every hour. The new California Academy of Sciences is located in Golden Gate Park between Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and JFK Drive.
