Delta Dental gets new affiliate

San Francisco-based Delta Dental of California has gained a new affiliate with the announcement Wednesday that Delta Dental Plan of Puerto Rico is joining the $5.1 billion holding company system.

The move is  expected to improve administrative systems and marketing for the Puerto Rican affiliate and improve the Delta Dental system’s outreach to Spanish speaking customers, according to a statement from Gary D. Radine, president and CEO of Delta Dental of California and its larger holding system, which covers 15 states and 22 million enrollees.
