Con-way Inc. awards 45 college scholarships

San Mateo’s Con-way Inc. (CNW), a global freight transportation and logistics firm, has awarded 45 scholarships to the children of employees at Con-way and its subsidiaries.

The company also renewed 99 existing scholarships under the program, which distributed $60,000 in 2007 and has awarded more than $2.7 million in its 15 years of operation to nearly 900 students.

The children of employees with three years of service or more are eligible for the scholarships.
