Just as former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio catches Gov. Charlie Crist in the polls for the 2010 GOP Senate nomination, the Club for Growth excitedly announces that it has bundled $100,000 for him since early November.
“Marco Rubio and his vision of economic freedom are resonating around the country,” Club President Chris Chocola said. “In the middle of the holiday season, in the middle of a recession, we have bundled an astonishing $100,000 in little over a month.”
Rubio, a conservative, has gained ground in part by attacking Crist for his support for President Obama's stimulus package.
