Centex Homes highest ranked among new-home builders in Bay Area

San Francisco Bay Area new-home buyers rated Centex Homes highest in customer satisfaction, according to a J.D. Powers and Associates study released Wednesday.

Centex also ranked highest in new-home quality while Pulte Homes ranked highest in new-home design.

Centex Homes rated especially well with local buyers on four factors, the quality fo their construction manager, their builder’s sales staff, home readiness and locations. Shea Homes and Pulte Homes ranked second and third in the survey.
