BitTorrent launches new subsidiary in Japan

BitTorrent Inc., a privately-held San Francisco firm specializing in the transmission of filed and media over the Internet, has established BitTorrent Japan as a wholly owned subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan. BitTorrent Japan will be headed by general manager Hirotoshi Wakiyama.
