A.P. Pharma announces CEO succession plan

Redwood City-based pharmaceuticals firm A.P. Pharma Inc. (APPA) has initiated a search process for a successor to the current president and CEO Gregory Turnbull, the company announced Friday.

Turnbull became CEO in October 2006 when the previous incumbent Michael O’Connell left on medical leave, and will remain in the position until a successor is successfully hired. Turnbull, a long time board emmber, will remain on the board and continue to be a member of its executive committee.
