Fire officials say three people are hospitalized after their small boat overturned off of San Francisco's Ocean Beach.
A San Francisco Fire Department dispatcher says crews were sent to the beach when the boat overturned around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The dispatcher did not have additional details, but KCBS radio reports the three people were on a 17-foot Boston Whaler.
Their conditions were not known, but the station says emergency crews administered CPR to one person.
The National Weather Service had issued a high surf advisory earlier Thursday, with forecasters saying waves of 15 feet were expected along area beaches.
