This article is our run-down of the top three places you can BUY SEEDS and LEARN HOW TO GROW.

It’s our guide to finding the first port of call for your new hobby.

***Before you write in – we didn’t make Homegrown our number one because they’re the only American brand, we made sure it was a fair fight.***

How to buy cannabis seeds online, cultivate amazing weed and make your friends JEALOUS.

🥇 First place: The Homegrown Cannabis Co. 🥇

Homegrown highlights: There’s lots to love about this US brand, with one BIG plus being they’re an actual US CANNABIS BRAND! Operating out of California, they’ve forged solid partnerships with key players like Steve DeAngelo, Kyle Kushman and Swami Select.

This brand has it all.

Their seeds are amazing, their educational content is the BOMB, and, from what we hear, there’s much more to come – including a beautifully-shot outdoor grow series and a complete guide to greenhouse growing.

Homegrown is a family with over 200,000 members. We bet Christmas is tricky to organize!

Their customers help each other on the Community Forum, show off their success at Homegrown Diaries and chat once a month on Homegrown’s live stream: Growing Live (hosted by Kyle Kushman, no less).

Let’s see how they rated…

Selection: Homegrown stocks nearly 500 cultivars. Everything from feminized, regulars, autos, fast-flowers, high CBD, auto CBD, fast-flowering CBD – anything and everything you could ever think of or need.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 5/5

Dispatch: Homegrown delivers from the US, to the US. No more waiting around for European deliveries. These guys are on it! They offer free shipping, too – anywhere in America.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 5/5

Cost: On the face of it, they look expensive. This is clearly a premium website with a premium product and you get what you pay for. They cater for smaller budgets by offering a great selection of BOGOs, a ton of promos and 4 free seeds with your first purchase. A lovely touch.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 4/5

Guarantees: Delivery is guaranteed (easier when mailing from within the US) and germination is guaranteed, but it isn’t no-quibble. You need to follow their Germination Guide to be guaranteed resends.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 4/5

Customer service: Homegrown are swift at responding to customers and quick to resend missing deliveries (though these are rare). They have a telephone number and email address but most questions are answered within their community forum or on the live stream. Brilliant work, guys!

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 5/5

Educational content: Homegrown is far, far ahead of anyone else. They have hours and hours of educational videos, 100s of articles, podcasts, forum, diaries, free expert advice and live QandA with professionals. Nobody does it better.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 5/5

Overall: They’ve nailed everything. Premium quality product, awesome support and a free cannabis education. They’re so far ahead we doubt anyone, at this point, can catch them up. They average 9.6/10 on independent reviews and they get top marks from us, too!

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 5/5

🥈Second place: i49🥈

i49 highlights: The curiously-named i49 (isn’t that a code for an exceptionally fast heartbeat?) is a great-looking website with a huge range of seeds. They’ve built a solid reputation for good products, quick delivery and a decent blog.

The site has benefited from a recent revamp; it’s now super-easy to use and it looks AMAZING. Big, helpful buttons and info right where you want it.

Let’s see how they rated…

Selection: There aren’t many seedbanks with the depth of choice offered by i49 (besides Homegrown). 401 strains ranging from feminized, autos, beginners, regulars and fast-flowers.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 4/5

Dispatch: i49 ship to the USA but they suggest you check laws in your state before ordering. Like Homegrown, they resend your order should it not reach you. Their shipping is only free if you order 2 or more products, which means spending around $150.

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

Cost: i49 seeds are a few cents cheaper (per seed) than Homegrown, and available in packs of 4, 8, 10 and 20. They cater for budget growers with BOGOs, though i49 had 16 BOGOs, compared to Homegrown’s 37 (when reviewed).

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 4/5

Guarantees: With germination AND delivery guarantees, i49 offers peace of mind and great choice. There are some caveats. If up to half your seeds don’t germinate, you’ll only receive a 10% discount on your next order. Not quite replacements!

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

Customer Service: Get in touch via telephone (to leave a message) or email. They promise to respond within 48 hours. They lack a forum or any sort of direct contact with experts, hoping your questions will be answered by scouring the blog.

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

Educational content: The i49 blog is HUGE. They’ve a great section on wellness that complements their wide (if rather hidden) selection of high-CBD cannabis strains. You’d better enjoy reading, though, as i49 doesn’t have a single on-site video or guide. Catch up, guys!

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

Overall: If you want great seeds, you got it. If you want decent educational content, you got it. If you want to know why they’re called i49, don’t ask us! While it’s a pleasing site with lots of info and a good selection of seeds, it leaves you wanting more. They need to step it up with their video content and connect with their customers a bit more. Get our hearts racing, guys!

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 4/5

🥉Third place: Seed Supreme🥉

Seed Supreme highlights: Seed Supreme is one of Europe’s best-known cannabis seedbanks, and one of the most popular stateside, too.

They don’t produce their own seeds, but retail over 4000 cultivars from Europe’s leading breeders.

They’re not too far behind Homegrown, but let’s take a look at their ratings…

Selection: With over 4000 strains, Seed Supreme has a HUGE selection, helpfully separated into fems, autos, regs, and medicinal.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 5/5

Dispatch: Seed Supreme claim “stealth worldwide shipping and discreet USA delivery.” Shipping is free if you spend £75 (approx $105) or more.

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

Cost: This varies hugely on Seed Supreme. With so many breeders to choose from, it’s imperative you do your research before making a purchase. That said – there are plenty of bargains to be found!

🌳 🌳🌳 🌳4/5

Guarantees: Seed Supreme offer a delivery guarantee, but they don’t mention germination anywhere on site.

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

Customer service: Help is available via FAQs and email. They don’t have a telephone number but you can chat live to a representative if you catch them at the right time.

🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳 4/5

Educational content: We couldn’t find any educational content at all, though we’re sure it’s there somewhere – catch up, guys!

0/5

Overall: We struggled to find a seed site anywhere that matches the depth of choice offered by Seed Supreme – it’s a real feather in their cap. We’re looking forward to when they complement their range of seeds with premium educational content. Do this, and they’re a sure-fire contender for the number one spot.

🌳 🌳 🌳 3/5

The first day of the rest of your life…

Learn how to grow and you’ll be blowing minds in no time!

And it’s never been easier. Go visit Homegrown, order your seeds, watch the videos and get started.

Just imagine opening the tent to those glorious plants… opening the jars and smelling those delicious, Homegrown smells…

We can’t wait!

Join the party, enjoy the grow.

Peace ✌️
