James Corden’s carpool karaoke has hit the Bay Area, with none other than the invincible Steph Curry.
The YouTube video, in which the TV host and Golden State Warriors star belted versions of Disney tunes (“How Far I’ll Go” from “Moana” and “Love Is an Open Door” from “Frozen”), got almost 2 million hits in less than a day after the bit aired on TV.
Before the pair got the music under way, “The Late Late Show” host cautioned the basketball great that non-singers haven’t yet participated, and that even Adele had to try out.
However, it was only moments before the point guard nailed the songs (thanks to practice with his 4 1/2-year-old daughter Riley), even wearing a mouthguard and doing a robot dance.
Prior to the car ride, the talk show host and NBA star played miniature golf at Subpar Miniature Golf in Alameda, where Curry promptly beat Corden (dressed in a ridiculous sweater and knickers) at not only golf, but also air hockey and Dance Dance Revolution. –
