Scoop: George Michael died of natural causes

George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz isn’t mincing words upon hearing news that the singing star died of natural causes.

After the coroner reported Monday that the 53-year-old singer died of a heart condition, and that there will be no further inquiries regarding his death, Fawaz shared on Twitter: “F— you … the truth is out.”

The Wham! singer, who was found dead on Christmas Day at his home in Oxfordshire, England, had a condition called dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and also suffered from a fatty liver, coroner Darren Salter announced.

Fawaz, who found who found the singer dead in his home, has faced abuse for two months.

On Twitter, he said, “All the nasty comments were very cruel … Now I hope to receive some real LOVE x.”

Afterward, speaking outside the Regent’s Park home owned by the Wham! singer, Fawaz said he felt “wonderful,” adding, “I am happy now he can rest, and we can rest as well.”

Shortly after his death, Michael’s manager Michael Lippman said he believed the singer suffered heart failure.

But at the time, the UK Daily Mail reported that Michael’s cousin Andros Georgiou suspected the singer died of an accidental drug overdose, and former lover Paul Stag claimed he was addicted to a drug called Liquid G. His former partner Kenny Goss said he believed the pop star’s body “just gave up.”
