Leah Remini left the Church of Scientology in 2013, and now the former “King of Queens” star is discussing the very secretive organization in a very public forum.
“I decided I didn’t want to raise my daughter in the church because from what I’ve experienced, and what I saw, the church becomes your everything,” Remini says in new clips from her upcoming TLC series “Leah Remini: It’s All Relative.” “It becomes your mother, your father, your everything. You are dependent on the church.”
In the clips obtained by People magazine Wednesday, Remini doesn’t elaborate on Xenu, the evil intergalactic dictator who looms large in Scientology scriptures, or what the hell happened to wild-eyed adherent Tom Cruise. Instead, the 45-year-old chats with Scientologists who were also declared “suppressive persons” after leaving the celebrity-obsessed religion and forbidden to contact friends and family who stayed behind.
The Church of Scientology evidently is still smarting from Remini’s rejection, telling People magazine, “It comes as no surprise that someone as self-absorbed as Leah Remini continues to rewrite history and exploit her former religion in a pathetic attempt to get ratings for her cable show and seem relevant again.”

Too Short, real name Todd Anthony Shaw, was busted for Lohan-itis — failing to do his community service — and is serving the time instead of submitting to another three-year probation term.
