Scoop: Erin Moran was reportedly ‘full of energy’ before death

Erin Moran, the actress who played Joanie in “Happy Days” and “Joanie Loves Chachi,” who was also found dead in her mother-in-law’s trailer on Saturday, was reportedly known to neighbors as “hyper, full of energy,” and that “She was always friendly and waved,” according to People Celebrity.

Moran, who’s death shocked her former “Happy Days” castmates, was found by police in Harrison County, Ind., on reports of an “unresponsive female,” according to People.

Although neighbors said she was energetic and ebullient, they also said she had grown reclusive in recent months.

“I used to see her all the time, walking up to get the mail or just out for a stroll,” neighbor David Holt, 61, told People Celebrity. “She always waved or stopped to say hello. But I hadn’t seen her for a couple of months. She kind of hibernated at the end.”

Moran reportedly died in an old, gray trailer that she shared with her second husband and mother-in-law.

Police have not said exactly how and where she died. Moran was 56.

More assault charges at Fox

Alisyn Camerota, a former Fox news anchor, is the latest to levy charges of sexual harassment against her former employer, according to Variety.

Camerota has come out publicly charging Fox News CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment.

“Yes, Roger Ailes did sexually harass me,” she said to CNN’s Brian Stelter on “Reliable Sources.”

Camerota is the latest ex-Fox employee who has accused the company and its CEO of engaging in or looking away from charges of sexual assault.

Last week, Fox fired Bill O’Reilly after several allegations of sexual harassment were levied against him.

Former Fox employee Megyn Kelly also accused Ailes of harassment in her memoir “Settle for More,” released last year, according to People.

Simmons out of hospital

Exercise guru Richard Simmons is reportedly out of the hospital, and thankful for those who got him there, according to the New York Daily News.

Simmons, 68, was in the hospital for the three days due to “severe indigestion,” the Daily News reports.

After he got home, he reached out to the doctors who treated him and the law enforcement officers who helped him return home.

His return home was the first time Simmons had been seen publicly in more than three years, according to the Daily News.
