Man charged with emergency waiting room attack

Dover police have charged a man with hitting a woman in the head in the waiting area of a hospital emergency room.

Officers say it happened about 7 a.m. Sunday at Kent General Hospital. Police say the 72-year-old was in the waiting room when a man hit her in the head and snatched her purse.

Authorities tell WBOC-TV that the man was captured by hospital security workers after a foot chase. (http://bit.ly/x9wkkb)

Thirty-year-old Terry Henry has been charged with robbery.
