Jenny McCarthy laments new Playboy nudity policy

Although it looks like Playboy fans really will be reading the magazine for the articles come next year, Jenny McCarthy wants one more shot to bare all in its pages.

The 42-year-old former Playmate – who made her first centerfold appearance in the magazine in 1993 — was disappointed to learn that the once provocative periodical will no longer feature nudity beginning in March, due to the prevalance of online porn.

Earlier this week, head honcho Hugh Hefner made the announcement about the change, and Playboy CEO Scott Flanders told the New York Times: “That battle has been fought and won … you’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free.”

On her Sirius XM show on Wednesday, McCarthy said, “It kind of breaks my heart that it’s the end of that era, that we have to lose what I would consider very classy nudity in a magazine. In solidarity I will be wearing my panties at half-mast.”

McCarthy, who posed for the magazine seven times and made six cover appearances, said, “I would totally be willing to just take it all off one more time — just to say I’ll be in the last one.”

A rep for Playboy declined to comment on the offer, Page Six reports.

Marilyn Monroe, Lindsay Lohan, Pamela Anderson, Madonna, Joan Collins, Charlize Theron, Kate Moss, La Toya Jackson, Sharon Stone, Kim Basinger and Drew Barrymore also appeared nude in the publication.

GREY’S LAST WORD ON THE LIFT

Jennifer Grey has offered her final comment on “the lift” she did with Patrick Swayze in “Dirty Dancing.”

“It’s a non-starter. It happened, enjoy it, watch it over and over again but never ask me to do it again because I’m too f—ing old,” the actress told the U.K. Guardian in a recent inteview.

The scene, which Grey said wasn’t rehearsed, has become a common pop culture reference. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling did it in “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” and Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, and Taylor Swift and Harry Styles apparently have tried it.
