TomKat’s New Digs

Is Tom Cruise trying to keep up with the Beckhams? The “MI:3” actor has reportedly snapped up a $35 million, 1.3-acre Beverly Hills estate — which wasn’t even for sale — just minutes away from his pals’ just-purchased manse. The home Tom shares with wife KatieHolmes and their family is a rental.

Tabloid says Lohan caught doing coke

After completing a stint in rehab, hard-partying actress Lindsay Lohan was caught on camera snorting cocaine in a nightclub, according to a British tabloid.

News of the World published grainy photos, allegedly stills from a nightclub security camera, that it claims show the “Mean Girls” star and a pal using the drug in a bathroom. A source reportedly told the U.K. paper that La Linds “does not care who sees her do coke and where she does it.”

Within a week of exiting rehab, the insider says, the 21-year-old scene queen was back on the Hollywood party circuit. On one binge, “she was still up doing drugs at 11 a.m. even though she had started about 8 p.m. the night before.”

The source also says the AA attendee “carries ’round a water bottle … refill[ed] with vodka and soda.”

We can’t tell what’s really going on in the photos, but we sure hope mom Dina will sit Lindsay down and find out the truth.

APB For Paris?

In one of those delicious cosmic ironies, Paris Hilton is set to appear on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in prisoner-esque zebra stripes, just weeks before she serves a 45-day jail sentence. Inside, the heirhead, who was busted for driving with a suspended license, laments that police target her — to pick her up.

“I think I get in more trouble just because of who I am,” grouses the “Simple Life” star (who appears on the cover with BFF, co-star and fellow DUI bustee Nicole Richie), according to published interview excerpts. “The cops do it all the time. They’ll just pull me over to hit on me. It’s really annoying. They’re like, ‘What’s your phone number? Want to go to dinner?’

“They just pull me over, and the paparazzi, of course, take a picture,” the not-exactly-press-shy celebutante huffs. “All the time. I have so many cops’ business cards.”

Paris made her comments to Bazaar prior to her conviction, which her wealthy parents plan to fight.

“Kathy and Rick [Hilton] are exploring ways to try to get her sentence reduced,” a source told the New York Daily News. “That includes approaching politicians, including Gov. [Arnold] Schwarzenegger.”

Paris Hilton as political prisoner? Now we’ve heard it all.

Back From the Brink

Marilyn Manson admits he sank so deep into depression during his failed marriage to Dita von Teese that he considered suicide.

“Did I want to kill myself? Yes,” Marilyn confesses to “MTV News.” “Did I come close to doing that? More than I’d like to think.”

Along with working on his new album “Eat Me, Drink Me,” which he calls his “salvation” and “rebirth,” the goth rocker says that meeting now-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood, 19, helped restore his will to live.

“Finding someone who’s willing to drown with you creates a situation where you no longer want to drown,” he explains.

Romantic sentiment, Marilyn … but it might not be a bad idea to chat with a professional.

Biel’s Schpiel

File under “We should all have such problems”: Jessica Biel is complaining about being a famous sex symbol.

The “Illusionist” star laments in the June issue of Elle that her celebrity “makes everything hard because you can’t even go to pick up a prescription without somebody trying to snap a photo of what you have in your Longs Drugs bag.”

“Thank goodness I’m a nice person,” the magnanimous actress adds.

And being named the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire was more a curse than a blessing, she claims: “I thought the Esquire cover was going to be really positive for my career. But it wasn’t, really.” Instead, one director told her, “I’m not looking for the sexiest woman; I’m looking for the girl next door.”

Doesn’t your heart just bleed for poor Jessica?

Say What?

“I have to be honest: I hate going to the gym. I don’t like running. I hate doing anything that has to do with working out. I hate it, but I do it because I have to. I can’t train with my sister Venus. … It’s frustrating working out with her because she’s so into it. I’m the complete opposite.” Serena Williams to Star magazine
