Toll Authority holds public meeting on toll increases

Today, the Bay Area Toll Authority will hold the last in a series of four hearings to receive public comments on a proposed toll hike on the Bay Bridge, in addition to the six other state-owned Bay Area bridges. An increase would finance the estimated $750 million cost of seismic retrofit projects on the Antioch and Dumbarton bridges. The meeting will take place at 835 Market St. at 6:30 p.m.
