Once again, Stern Grove presents an exciting lineup of free summer concerts. This year’s performances begin June 15 and continue through Aug. 17.
Shows are at 2 p.m. every Sunday at Sigmund Stern Grove, 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard, San Francisco. For details, visit www.sterngrove.org.

June 15 — Blues icon Booker T. Jones and “The Great Lady of Soul” Bettye Lavette
June 22 — Nigerian Afrobeat star Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 with club favorite Sila and the Afrofunk Experience
June 29 — San Francisco Symphony conducted by James Gaffigan
July 6 — New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint and the next generation sound of Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue
July 13 — French-Algerian rock-rebel Rachid Taha and Arabic grooves with MC Rai
July 20 — Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, featuring Pharoah Sanders
July 27 — Voices of Latin Rock, with members of Santana and Malo; and Sambadá
Aug. 3 — Electro-tango group Bajofondo and New York Latin electronica group Si*Sé
Aug. 10 — One Hawai’i, featuring Na Leo, Ernie Cruz, Kaukahi, One Right Turn
Aug. 17 — San Francisco Opera
Special programs are scheduled for children ages 4-13, running from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Kids Days with San Francisco Taiko Dojo are June 24-26; with Cheryl Burke Dance and San Francisco Ballet Center for Dance Education, July 15-17; and with Halau ‘o Keikiali’iare, Aug. 5-7.
