Scoop: Rihanna initially took Chris Brown back

Rihanna has opened up in a heartwrenching interview — admitting she initially took Chris Brown back after he beat her in February, before realizing she was sending the wrong message to her fans.

“It’s pretty natural for that to be the first reaction; to [want] to go back,” the “Disturbia” singer told Diane Sawyer. “The minute the physical wounds go away, you want to go back. [But] when I realized that my selfish decision for love could result [in] some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part.”

Her fans “are young girls, and I didn’t realize how much an impact I had on these girls’ lives until that happened,” explained the pop star. “It takes a woman eight or nine times before she leaves, and … that’s not what I want to teach people. It was a wake-up call, big time.”

“I am strong,” Rihanna concluded. “This happened to me — I didn’t cause this. I didn’t do it. This happened to me, and it can happen to anybody.”

A powerful message. We have such respect for Rihanna for sharing her story — and for being strong enough to walk away.

Duhamel Dalliance?

Less than a year after they married, is Josh Duhamel stepping out behind Fergie’s back — with a stripper? An, ahem, exotic dancer from Atlanta (where Josh is currently filming a movie) named Nicole Forrester told a local radio show and then the Enquirer that she had “lots of sex” with the hunky actor in a hotel, following his visit to the club where she works.

“After he told me his real name, I asked, ‘Are you Fergie’s husband?’” Nicole recalled to Us magazine. “And he was like, ‘You know what you know.’”

Her attorney claims that she has passed a lie-detector test, and that she has steamy texts that provide evidence the tryst happened.

But Josh’s rep flatly denied the tale to Us magazine, saying, “This is not the first nor will it be the last time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity. This story is absolutely ridiculous.”

And his wife since January is standing by her man. “Josh told her it didn’t happen, and she believes him,” a source tells Us magazine of the Black Eyed Peas singer.

We don’t know what really happened, and we understand Josh has gotten his lawyer involved, so … we believe him, too!

Lindsay: ‘Despondent’

Michael Lohan just won’t stop. A day after releasing a taped phone call purportedly from daughter Lindsay, he leaked another call, this time from her mother Dina, to Radar Online.

“You don’t even know what I’d go through trying to get her into, like, rehab and stuff,” DiLo is heard to say of LiLo on the tape. “She’d like, punch me in the face, kick me out of the car … like you don’t know the [expletive] I went through trying to get her an intervention by myself.  It was very difficult.”

“She’s really sad and really hurt and really … despondent,” continues Dina.

As a result of her father releasing the tapes, “Lindsay is paranoid about every move she makes and doesn’t feel like she can trust anyone, thanks to her father,” a friend of the actress told Fox 411. “She has stopped leaving voice mails for friends and employees. Lindsay is terrified of everyone backstabbing her. This is the lowest her father has ever gone. She is furious!”

“I admit, I’m being a bit selfish in releasing the tapes,” Michael Lohan told Radar. “But I’m tired of being lied about. I’m tired of Dina and others making me out to be someone I’m not, so now I’m going to prove to the world who the real liars are.”

Wow — quite a reversal from his original claim that he was doing it to help his daughter.
