Scoop: Britney Spears lip syncs in Vegas

Denise Truscello/WireImageRegional President of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino David Hoenemeyer greets Britney Spears during her official arrival at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on December 3

Well, it didn’t take long, but Britney Spears, in her opening weekend, allegedly lip-synced onstage during her Las Vegas “Piece of Me” residency.

A Los Angeles Times review says the pop star faked her way through the “majority” of songs at Planet Hollywood’s 4,600-seat Axis Theater, although her management denies it.

To be fair, the 32-year-old performer is singing and dancing her way through 90 minutes of material (for a total of 96 performances, running through 2015). Since she hasn’t really figured out how to walk and chew gum at the same time, let’s give the gal a break.
