Scoop! Beyonce’s father doesn’t know best

It looks like Beyonce Knowles is still working out her daddy issues.

The 24-year-old singer says she’s been arguing more with her father-manager, Matthew Knowles, as she tried to take back some control of her multi-hyphenate career.

The singer-actress says her father would book her for performances that she said no to, but she would show up anyway because she didn’t want to come across as flaky.

“It took a while for me and my dad to have an understanding, because he thinks everyone’s supposed to work like him,” Beyonce told Giant magazine. “When I turned 18 and started handling my business more, he went into shock.”

In fact, Beyonce said she recorded her upcoming album, “B’Day,” (which will be released on Sept. 5 — Beyonce’s birthday) behind her father’s back.

“‘Don’t tell my daddy. Don’t tell my mama. Don’t tell anybody, [including] the label,’” Beyonce ordered her studio team. “So two weeks later, I called my dad and said, ‘My record’s done.’ He was, like, ‘WHAT!?’”

Avril and Deryck: You’ve been unpunk’d!

Singer Avril Lavigne and Sum 41frontman Deryck Whibley got hitched Saturday at a surprisingly traditional ceremony in front of 100 guests in Santa Barbara.

The “Complicated” singer, 21, wore a white Vera Wang gown and walked down the aisle with her father while “Wedding March” played. Whibley, 26, wore a Hugo Boss tux.

“Avril looked beautiful! Her hair was very bright blonde. Her dress was simple, but elegant,” a witness told Us Weekly.

According to People magazine, the couple’s first dance was to the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris.”

OK, you just made The List

Singer Robbie Williams is such a ladies man that, in order to keep track, he has to keep a written list of all the ladies his hooked up with while on tour.

The list includes name, age, contact info and, most importantly, a rating of the woman’s sexual performance.

“Robbie has so many one-night stands he can’t keep track of who he has slept with,” a source told The Daily Star. “So he decided to start a book detailing his conquests so he can cherish his memories.”

Hard to believe this terrific guy is still single, huh?

Win a date with Jessica Biel

Actress Jessica Biel, who magazines keep trying to convince the public is a major star, is auctioning off a date to raise money for Molly Brown, a Boulder, Colo. teenager who lost her leg in a prom night car accident.

An event dubbed “Mollypalooza,” which will help the girl’s family with medical expenses, is set for Tuesday at the Rock Island Club, organizers told The Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News, according to The Associated Press.

Originally from Boulder, Biel, who Esquire magazine called “The Sexiest Woman Alive” but most people call “that girl from ‘7th Heaven,’” heard about the accident from her parents and wanted to help.

Justin doesn’t just say no

Is Justin Timberlake looking to be the next Pete Doherty?

The 25-year-old pop singer fessed up that he’s done his fair share of drugs, he just hasn’t been dumb enough to get caught.

I’m just like everyone else — I get completely plastered, I’ve done my fair share of drugs and been caught places with my pants down,” Timberlake told The Daily Mirror. “It’s just that I make sure there are no cameras around.”

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award winner says that while he partakes of narcotics, he doesn’t do it excessively.

“They always say too much of a good thing could be a bad thing. I try to live my life in a well-rounded manner,” Timberlake said. “We all make mistakes.”
