Scarlett’s never met alleged rocker beau

So much for talk that Scarlett Johansson has a budding romance with a British rocker. As Scoop! told you Tuesday, the U.K.’s Daily Mirror recently linked the actress with musician Dan White, guitarist for the up-and-coming band the Tribes. But the tabloid may not have gotten its facts straight (or even bothered trying), since the actress says that’s news to her.

“I’ve never heard of him,” ScarJo said to Us magazine on Monday. “I’ve never met him, and I’ve never listened to his band.”

We had never heard of him either before he was linked to the “We Bought a Zoo” star. Clearly, there’s an important lesson here: If you’re in a band that’s trying to generate buzz, by all means call up a tabloid and tell them anonymously that you’re dating a hot Hollywood starlet!

‘SNL’ sweethearts

One couple that appears to be a definite item: Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde. The “Horrible Bosses” star and the “Cowboys and Aliens” actress are evidently not shy about the fact that they’re together.

The “Saturday Night Live” funnyman brought his gal pal to the show’s after-party in NYC over the weekend, and after they dined together, he “happily showed her off to the cast,” a source told the New York Post. “They were together all night.”

Host Jimmy Fallon and special guest Jude Law were also among the revelers.

A source who echoed similar words to the New York Daily News noted that Jason and Olivia were “obviously very into each other” — but didn’t want photos of them together. Apparently, it’s one thing to be sighted in public, but it’s another to be caught on film.

TomKat love

Back in 2005, the whirlwind romance between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes surprised everyone (especially Oprah, whose upholstery took a beating because of it). But the now-married couple is still as much in love as ever.

In fact, “every day I fall more in love with her,” the “Mission: Impossible” star gushed to People magazine. “It’s been quite an amazing five years because of her.” (Presumably he’s counting from their 2006 wedding.)

“She’s an incredible woman,” the actor says of his wife and the mother of their daughter, Suri, 5. “She’s everything to me.”

No word on whether Katie herself actually uttered any words or merely remained by Tom’s side with a glassy-eyed frozen smile.

Kardashians in 3-D

And now it’s time for our daily Kardashian update. As usual, the gang has a lot going on. Let’s see:

Kim Kardashian tweeted musing, “Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate.” Hmm, thinking of anything — or anyone — in particular, Kim?

Khloe Kardashian flew to Dallas to look for a home with ex-Laker husband Lamar Odom following his trade, and cheered him at his first Mavericks game.

Kendall Kardashian objected to mom Kris Jenner’s wish to throw her a lavish Sweet 16 party in the Bahamas on a very special “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Kourtney Kardashian, expecting her second child, threw firstborn son Mason a “Wild Wild West”-themed birthday party to celebrate him turning 2, reports Life&Style magazine.

And the entire family got together for their annual Christmas card, which is even more over-the-top than usual: It can be viewed in 3D using special glasses! Happy holidays from Hollywood. …
