TheatreWorks presents “The Elephant Man,” Bernard Pomerance’s award-winning stage play about John Merrick, a 19th-century carnival attraction who became an urbane and clever favorite among Victorian society. Performances run Tuesdays through Sundays through July 15 at Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View. Tickets are $20 to $56.
