San Francisco: Places to go, people to see

POP!, a group art exhibition of mixed-media eye candy, hosts an opening reception from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Madrone Lounge, 500 Divisadero St., San Francisco. Participating artists include Melissa Chow, danyol, Angela DeCenzo, Arin Hart Fishkin, Marianne Larochelle (whose work is pictured) and Bernardo Reitich. The show will be up through October; tonight’s free festivities include DJ music and refreshments.
