San Francisco: Places to go, people to see

Redwood City presents “Movies in the Square,” a free film series held in Courthouse Square. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” leads things off Wednesday. “North by Northwest” shows June 27. Screenings continue through Aug. 29 on Wednesdays at 8:45 p.m. at Broadway between Theatre Way (Middlefield) and Hamilton Street, Redwood City.
