S.F. Opera’s world premiere event

“The Bonesetter’s Daughter”: On Saturday, San Francisco Opera opened their highly anticipated production of “The Bonesetter’s Daughter,” which was adapted from the best-selling novel by Amy Tan, featuring music by Stewart Wallace. Guests enjoyed dinner in the Green Room, followed by the performance. Among the event’s honorees were John and Cynthia Gunn, who donated $40 million to the opera — possibly the single largest contribution by indiviudals to an opera company.artsClassical Music & OperaentertainmentOpera
