Rush Limbaugh switches stations

Bay Area radio station 960 AM has gone through a lot of format changes, but now it’s really making a leap. In January, the station is set to feature the right-wing man himself, Rush Limbaugh, who will leave KKSF (910 AM).

The Hollywood Reporter says KNEW (960 AM) will be rebranded “Right Radio,” and the fate of left-leaning talk personalities such as Stephanie Miller is unknown. Could be that the station’s progressive incarnation will be going the way of the dodo once Limbaugh begins streaming.

Does anyone remember when 960 was the corny-yet-wonderful lounge-era, easy-listening station KABL? Those were the days!
