Reese Witherspoon to get engaged soon?

Reese Witherspoon may be getting an extra-special holiday present: an engagement ring from her beau. High-powered CAA agent Jim Toth has been ring-shopping, according to Radar Online, and plans to pop the question to the Oscar winner “very soon.”

The actress, who is divorced from Ryan Phillippe and has two children with him, has been linked with Jim since February. She recently gushed to Glamour magazine that “it’s very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn’t do what I do. He’s a great guy. He’s wonderful.”

In picking out bling, “price wasn’t an issue” for the Hollywood power player, says a source. “He was looking for something pretty big, around three or four carats. Reese probably wouldn’t wear anything larger than that since she’s not showy.”

The date of the proposal, notes the insider, isn’t set in stone (no pun intended), but “it is expected to happen over the holidays.”

Well, Jim, sorry to ruin the element of surprise there. But good luck!

Sted-y Boyfriend

Oprah Winfrey has closed the book on a persistent rumor about her personal life.

“I’m not a lesbian,” the doyenne of daytime TV declares to Barbara Walters in a new interview. “I’m not even kind of a lesbian.”

“And the reason why [the rumor] irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I’m lying,” notes the media mogul. “That’s number one. Number two … why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life.”

And though BFF Gayle King has been the subject of romantic speculation, Oprah says she’s like “the mother I never had” and “the sister everybody would want.”

As for Stedman Graham, her beau since 1986 and fiancé since 1992, he’s a “lover,” a “partner,” a “mate.”

Hey, we can’t blame Oprah for never walking down the aisle. If we were worth as much as the gross national product of Europe, we might not want to make the relationship legally binding either.

Dirrty Pics

Christina Aguilera is known for her distaste for clothing. But though the often scantily clad singer was none too pleased when nearly nude photos of her leaked on — where else? — the Internet.

“The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina’s personal stylist’s account,” the “Stripped” singer’s rep said in a statement. “The photos were taken in the privacy of Ms. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist.”

So she could show the stylist options for outfits to … not wear?

Goslively?

Guess there’s a romance brewing between Ryan Gosling and Blake Lively! The “All Good Things” star and the “Gossip Girl” actress appeared to have quite a, uh, rapport at the NYC after-party for his new film “Blue Valentine,” Tuesday night at the Standard Hotel.

“Blake waited patiently to greet Ryan,” a source relayed to “OK!” “They both looked so happy to be with each other; he hugged her and she held on to his arm.”

And oh yeah, they made out against a window, reports the New York Daily News.

After leaving through separate entrances, a few minutes apart, they were spotted dining with pals at the Standard Grill.

Eat your heart out, Penn Badgley!
