Lucasfilm/Disney/APA 4chan user who claims to be a Lucasfilm employee leaked some alleged details about the new movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" this week.

<p>'Star Wars” fans got an early Christmas present last week with the first trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Now, some fans say they've scored the whole haul.

According to the Guardian, the purported leak happened earlier this week on 4chan, the same website where stolen pictures of nude female celebrities first surfaced in August. A user named Spoiler Man, who claims to be an employee at San Francisco-based Lucasfilm, posted more than 3,000 words detailing minor and major plot points.

The information has since been reproduced on Reddit, a popular social-networking site, and includes some startling twists. With respect to the die-hard “Star Wars” faithful, here are just a few of the leaked details (and again, the veracity of the information has not been confirmed):

R2-D2 and C-3PO are back. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) are married. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is back, and he's married to Lupita Nyong'o's character.

OK, not really — the leak claims Nyong'o plays Luke's apprentice. It also says the film is much darker than the original trilogy.

The Guardian says “'Star Wars' experts” are skeptical about the leak, and considering the source, any information should be taken with a Jabba the Hutt-sized grain of salt.

Still, the paper says, the new information does seem to jibe with other details known about the film, which has been kept tightly under wraps by director J.J. Abrams.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is slated to be released in December 2015.
