Conservative news and opinion site Brietbart.com is having a tizzy fit over The Hub network’s new cartoon character, SheZow, calling it “leftist” and a “soon-to-be-dud” idea.

The superhero is the alter ego of a 12-year-old boy named Guy, the New York Daily News reported. Whenever he activates his power ring and utters, “You go girl!” he transforms into a female crime fighter in thigh-high white boots, a purple cape and skirt, and pink gloves.

“This Breitbart News article is just a laughable attempt at attention seeking, comparable to Jerry Falwell attacking the Teletubbies,” said GLAAD’s Rich Ferraro. “[It] demonstrates a profound ignorance of transgender people since this show doesn't include any.”

The show debuts Saturday, and frankly sounds totally awesome.
