LiLo’s stalker might be same as Britney’s

As if Lindsay Lohan does not have enough trouble to deal with, she is now reportedly being targeted by a stalker. The actress has been receiving anonymous harassing phone calls and text messages, TMZ reported.

Officials at the Betty Ford Center, where she is receiving treatment, are said to be worried, and they are moving LiLo to a “secure, private facility” and limiting her outings.

And in an odd wrinkle, one person who has been named as the possible perpetrator is Sam Lutfi. Remember him? Yup, that would be the dude who shadowed Britney Spears during her darkest hour — think shaved head and umbrella rage — claiming to be her manager.

After establishing a conservatorship over her affairs, Brit’s father took out a restraining order preventing him from contacting the pop star.

According to TMZ, the phone number on at least one text the “Machete” star received — in which he claims to work for the paparazzi site, and warns her to keep her distance from mom Dina — is Sam’s. Creepy!

Shania engaged

Talk about coming full circle: Two and a half years after her split with producer husband Mutt Lange, Shania Twain is engaged — to the former husband of the woman he allegedly left her for. Take a moment to process that if you need to.

Frederic Thiebaud was married to Marie-Anne Thiebaud, a friend of Shania’s who was linked with Mutt when he and Shania broke up in 2008, after 14 years of marriage. Their spurned spouses then turned to each other for comfort.

Last year, Shania said of her relationship with Frederic: “We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We’ve become stronger and closer through it all.”

The engagement reportedly took place two months ago at the couple’s Switzerland home.

“She has ended up with the love of her life,” a pal said.

Kardashian adoption?

In one of the more obviously bogus tabloid stories we have heard in a while, Life&Style magazine claimed that Kim Kardashian plans to adopt a baby. The mag said before a recent promotional trip to South Africa that the socialite considered visiting an orphanage to pick up a baby. Because, you know, as long as you’re in the neighborhood, why not swing by and become a mother?

After seeing a photo of children at an orphanage in the country, “she couldn’t believe that all these beautiful little babies were orphans,” a friend reportedly said. “Kim was in shock, she just couldn’t believe that none of them had a mom or a dad to love them and tuck them into bed at night. That picture really changed her mind about adoption.”

This is completely ridiculous. Kim has been saying she is too busy with work to even have a boyfriend, much less a family. And while we are skeptical of the idea that she actually works, we are even more skeptical of this story.
