Kristen Stewart miffed by Casey Anthony talk

Is Kristen Stewart a ringer for Casey Anthony? Well, she sure doesn’t think so. Though there’s buzz the “Twilight” star could be a perfect choice to play the acquitted yet reviled “Tot Mom” in a movie, the actress and her camp are understandably unflattered by the comparison.

“Her people are really annoyed about the Casey Anthony comparisons,” a source told Us magazine. “Kristen wants that talk to blow over soon.

“She would never for no amount of money portray that girl. It’s grossing her out. All those entertainment shows are doing polls and whatnot and her people just want it to stop!”

Could it be possible Hollywood has finally found a salacious true-crime story it doesn’t like?

The Boy Is Hers

R&B singer Monica married Lakers player Shannon Brown on Saturday, but it wasn’t their first wedding — the couple had a secret ceremony at home in November, and didn’t even confirm the happy news until January.

This time, guests at the refurbished 19th-century cathedral Vibiana in Los Angeles included Lakers teammates Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher and Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, with wife Lala Vasquez. Monica has two sons from a previous relationship and Shannon has one; the three boys arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, according to People magazine.

After the wedding, guests enjoyed cocktails before proceeding to an elegant reception for a three-course meal — with hydrangea and rose centerpieces on the tables, in case you were wondering.

Sounds lovely. Congrats to the happy couple — although we would have appreciated an invite this time around.

Frank Talk From Franco

James Franco is responding to the critics who thought he was a failure as an Oscars host — and he agrees with them.

“It’s hard to talk about because it’s like assigning blame — not a fun thing to do,” the actor told Playboy magazine, adding that when show rehearsals got rolling, he told the producer, “I don’t know why you hired me, because you haven’t given me anything. I just don’t think this stuff’s going to be good.”
