Johnny and Vanessa might really be over

When we first heard the tabloid rumors that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were on the rocks, we wrote them off. But now comes a new People magazine report claiming the breakup between the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star and the French actress is all but a fait accompli. And People doesn’t make this kind of stuff up, people!

The couple of almost 14 years have never married but have two children together: Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9. Though they once shared a low-key lifestyle in France, they now reportedly are based in L.A. Multiple sources are said to maintain either that they have already split or the writing is on the wall.

“It’s so sad,” one insider laments. Unless you’re just delusional enough to believe you now have a chance to console Johnny — or perhaps Vanessa — on the rebound! And there are plenty such individuals out there, we’re guessing.

Brand Extension

Russell Brand is working on the third chapter in his “Booky Wook” memoir series — and this one just might focus on his marriage to Katy Perry, Us magazine reports. The pop singer is said to be concerned about what her estranged soon-to-be-ex-husband could reveal in print.

“He wants to tell his side of the story,” an insider reportedly explains. “The book will cover his married life, the breakup and moving on. And I don’t think he plans on keeping the breakdown of the marriage a secret. Pardon the pun, but Russell is an open book.”

“There’s definitely stuff she doesn’t want out there,” a Katy source allegedly confided.

So he not only refused to sign a prenup, but he’s now going to write a tell-all? Yikes.

Lucky Seven?

Despite Angelina Jolie’s svelte Golden Globes showing, U.K. OK! magazine is claiming that she is three months pregnant with her and Brad Pitt’s seventh child (which would be her fourth biological offspring).

“It’s not something she wants to officially announce, but she’s at a point where she is telling a select group of people,” a source reportedly said. “Angelina is really savoring every moment. She’s having a tough time with morning sickness but says it’s all worth it.”

“Angelina has cleared out her bedroom and redone it in white,” a pal is said to have claimed. “She wants it to have a Zen-like feeling because she believes in the mind-body connection and wants her mind at peace.”

Think this Angelina pregnancy rumor will be the one out of a thousand that actually turns out to be true? No, we’re not convinced either … But then again, we certainly wouldn’t rule it out!
