Jodie Foster weds Alexandra Hedison

It’s official: Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison are married.

The 51-year-old Oscar winner and her photographer girlfriend of almost a year tied the knot over the weekend, according to E! News, which reported their relationship as “pretty serious” in September.

Um, so just who is Hedison? Her credentials sure aren’t small potatoes. The 44-year-old artist dated Ellen DeGeneres for about three years before things ended in 2004 — Ellen reportedly left her for Portia De Rossi — and had a part on Showtime’s lesbian series “The L Word.”

Foster, who has two sons, Charles and Kit, previously was in a 20-year relationship with Cydney Bernard, to whom she referred in last year’s famously awkward Golden Globes Award speech. At the time, she spoke of her need for privacy and also declared that she did her “coming out a thousands years ago, in the Stone Age.”Alexandra HedisonEllen DeGeneresFeaturesGossipJodie Foster
