Jo Wood’s memoir contains a lot of Keith Richards drug stories

The memoir from the ex-wife of rocker Ron Wood comes out Tuesday, and “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll” contains shocking revelations about members of the Rolling Stones: They have done drugs.

Jo Wood told RadarOnline about her first meeting with the Stones’ guitarist: “[Keith Richards] filled a syringe and stabbed it straight through his shirt. A moment’s pause—then he looked up at me with a radiant smile. ‘Hello, my dear. I’ve heard so much about you!’” Wood claims they then spent three days drugging and boozing it up at a luxury hotel.

It really seems to be more a book about Richards’ drug exploits than the autobiography of a band babe, but nonetheless both emerged from it all somewhat unscathed and are here to tell about it. Remember that Richards says he kicked heroin in 1978 and gave up coke in ’06 after he fell out of that tree. It’s only rock ‘n’ roll.
