James Lipton claims he was once a pimp

Prepare to be thoroughly repulsed, because James Lipton, the simpering host of “Inside the Actors Studio,” has admitted to once working as a pimp. Of course, his version in Parade magazine is much more gilded and pretentious than simply being a hooker-wrangler.

It was Paris in the 1950s, “Just a few years after the war,” where he says he oversaw a “whole bordello.” Ah yes, we can see it now: The strains of Edith Piaf waft through the halls while little moans of ecstasy pepper the hazy dusk.

There’s more interesting trivia Lipton. His wife, Kedakai Turner, is “Miss Scarlet” in the 1980s version of the board game Clue. Now if she could only get him in the conservatory with the candlestick!
