Even celebrities giving thanks … sort of

There's a lot to be thankful for today, from loved ones gathered around the Thanksgiving table to a turkey that isn't as dry as the Sahara. There's even more to be thankful for, though, when you have a 10-car garage and a fountain that dispenses Champagne (regular and Slurpee-flavored Champagne, alternating every hour).

Robin Thicke is grateful for … well, his wife, Paula Patton, left him this year, his latest album sold fewer copies than some of the Wiggles' lesser efforts and he's being sued by Marvin Gaye's estate for allegedly ripping off 1977's “Got to Give it Up” in his hit song “Blurred Lines.” On the positive side, that ridiculous striped suit he work at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards is no longer a popular Halloween costume.

Kim Kardashian is thankful that nobody is paying attention to the fact that her recent bare-all photos in Paper magazine, snapped by French photographer Jean-Paul Goude, contain troubling references to prejudice-soaked images of black women from the 19th century. She's also grateful for the health of her daughter, North, and her husband, Kanye West, who has gone at least a year without punching a photographer.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are grateful that after getting hitched in August, they no longer have to put up with endless magazine covers speculating about their impending nuptials. Now they just have to worry about magazine covers trumpeting a divorce rumors … dang.

Abe Vigoda, hangdog star of “The Godfather” and “Joe vs. The Volcano,” is grateful that he is still alive, despite urban legends to the contrary.
