Eva planning to adopt a child from Haiti?

Is Eva Longoria planning to get over the heartbreak of divorce by adopting a child? A report in the U.K.’s Daily Mail claims the “Desperate Housewives” star, now undergoing a split from husband Tony Parker, will bring home a tot from Haiti, where she’s involved in charity work.

“Eva had her heart set on adopting a child from Haiti,” a source reportedly told the paper. “She so wants to be a mother. She wanted to adopt with Tony, but she’s happy to go ahead as a single parent and is very excited after what’s been a dark period.”

But the actress’s camp says it isn’t so. “She’s not focusing on motherhood,” one friend told the New York Daily News. “She’s not in the emotional state to become a mother right now. She just filed for divorce.”

Though Eva “ideally sees herself as a mother,” says the pal, single motherhood a la Sandra Bullock isn’t for her; she’d want “a supportive partner” with whom to raise a child.

And another insider thinks talk of adoption is the last thing Eva needs at the moment: “Eva’s really fragile right now. She’s being very mature about the breakup, but she’s always wanted a family.”

OK, OK! We won’t bring it up anymore. (Unless the rumor starts up again.)

‘Housewife’ to Be?

They’ve only been dating since May, but “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak is expecting a baby with boyfriend Kroy Biermann — and now they’re getting married to boot, reports Radar Online.

“Kim and Kroy are engaged, and only a few people know about it,” a source blabbed to the gossip site. “They wanted to announce it in a national magazine, but Kim was so excited that she told a couple of close friends about it.” (One of whom, evidently, couldn’t keep a secret.)

“Obviously, they are both really happy about both the baby and their engagement and cannot wait to start their new life together,” noted the source. The reality star, 32, has two daughters from a previous marriage; the 25-year-old Atlanta Falcons player is childless and has never been married.

“Kim is actually in her second trimester with her pregnancy now, and the couple are still in talks about getting their own spinoff reality show,” added the source. “And if this does not happen, then she will want to renegotiate her terms on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ if her wedding and new baby were to be featured on the show. The other cast members are publicly backing Kim and Kroy, but privately there are some jealousies because Kim is very much in the spotlight right now and not everyone is happy about that.”

Zolciak’s rep, on the other hand, denies the star is engaged.

Getting Closer

Christina Aguilera has met her new guy’s mom — but that doesn’t mean they’re getting serious. Oh, really?

After spending Thanksgiving in Los Angeles, the singer — accompanied by new beau Matthew Rutler and some pals — hopped a plane to New York for the weekend, leaving son Max in the care of her soon-to-be-ex-husband Jordan Bratman. And on Saturday, they just happened to make their way to Matt’s Rhode Island hometown, where they hung out with his mother, Kathleen.

“Since his family lives so close, they decided to drop in for a few hours,” said the source, noting that it wasn’t an official we’re-a-couple move: “They’re still getting to know each other better.”

A lot better, it seems. Don’t move too fast, Christina!
