Did Kris Humphries wound Kim Kardashian with 'terrible' words?

The fallout from Kim Kardashian’s short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries continues to, er, fall out. Some reports find the socialite victimized by her  hubby’s cruel remarks, while others claim the basketball player is threatening to sue over her camp’s portrayal of him as a cad.

Who are we to believe?!?

According to an Us magazine insider, the NBA player “belittled her in front of people. He’d call her stupid. It was truly sickening.”

“He tried to control Kim by bringing her down,” said the source. “He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn’t last.”

But Kris may be fighting back against the portrayal of him as a “husband from hell,” including the way he’s depicted on his now-estranged wife’s E! reality show, which documents the beginning — and end — of their marriage.

“Kris has a legal team investigating his options,” a source told Life&Style magazine. “He’s claiming his role on ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’ is bigger than he was told, and that’s why he wants more money. But Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he’s going to be portrayed on the series.”

Sources told the magazine that Kris might have grounds to sue if he can show that Kim signed their prenuptial agreement with a premeditated intent to end the relationship.

However, sources close to Kris reportedly insist to TMZ that he has no plans to sue his estranged spouse and they remain “cordial.”

And a source told the U.K.’s Daily Mail, “The Us Weekly story is completely taken out of context and a manipulation of the media. Kris teased Kim a lot, but it was never malicious, and he never resented her. He loved her and still does.”

J.Lo in love?

Despite reports that Jennifer Lopez’s latest romance is just a fling-type thing, it now appears that maybe dancer Casper Smart is more than just a rebound boy toy after all.

“It’s pretty serious,” an insider told E! “They’re together a lot. [Jennifer has] never been happier.”

Though she’s clearly in the position to play sugar mama, “He’s not asking Jennifer to buy him this or that,” the source said. “He’s courting her, like sending her flowers. I think his intentions are in the right place.”

The diva and her 24-year-old beau spent Thanksgiving together in Hawaii along with Max and Emme, J.Lo’s twins with soon-to-be-ex-husband Marc Anthony.

If Casper has already spent a major holiday with the kids, it sounds pretty serious indeed. Let’s hope his intentions really are in the right place!

Marriage-minded?

Now that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are back together, is it only a matter of time before he puts a ring on it?

This time around, the former “7th Heaven” star “has the power” in the relationship, an Us magazine source said, and the recently reunited couple of four years could wed if that’s what she wants.

“Justin thinks marriage would hurt his career, but if Jessica threatened to leave, he’d do it,” the source said.

Huh? Marriage could hurt his career? Has Hollywood not changed since 1950?
