Charlie Sheen spends birthday with ex-wife, kids

When you picture Charlie Sheen celebrating, you picture … well, a whole bunch of things we can’t discuss in a family publication. But it turns out his latest birthday celebration was, in fact, a wholesome family affair: The former “Two and a Half Men” star marked turning 46 with ex-wife Brooke Mueller and their 2-year-old twin sons.

The actor, who had an interesting year to say the least, looked like the picture of an upstanding father figure as he feasted on Italian food at the restaurant Buca di Beppo on Saturday with Brooke, Bob and Max.

So does this mean he and Brooke are back together? After all, just a few weeks ago, he jetted with her to Mexico. Charlie told TMZ at the time that he hadn’t reconciled with Brooke, he just wanted to reward her for her hard work taking care of the kids — and battling addiction.

We can’t help but wonder, however: Could the relationship be (re-)evolving into something more?

Chiseled Chaz?

Chaz Bono is already losing weight rehearsing for “Dancing With the Stars,” his partner says.

“He’s lost five pounds in six days,” Lacey Schwimmer tells People of the activist turned reality star. “It’s so great. He says he’s not eating any differently, he’s just dancing.

“He’s such a great guy,” she gushes. “He is so nice, and he’s such a kind person. He’s awesome. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner this time.”

One big question: Will he dance to mom Cher’s music?

“Chaz has already told me he doesn’t want to dance to any of his parents’ songs,” Lacey reveals. “But the show really wants it to happen, so we’ll see.”

And another teaser from Lacey: “Rumor has it that Cher wants to come to the show. So I hope that’s still in the works. I’d love to meet her.”

Memo to Chaz: We can understand why you wouldn’t want to play the Cher card, since no doubt you want to win this thing on your own merits. But come on — you know the fans want to see an “I Got You, Babe” dance number as much as producers do!

Angelina’s Garden Party

Some parents just hand their kids an electronic game player or pop in a DVD to keep them entertained. Angelina Jolie, on the other hand, hires a troupe of entertainers.

The six Jolie-Pitt kids were reportedly on their rented property in London (where dad Brad Pitt is filming a movie) when they got a surprise courtesy of Mom.

“All of the kids were in the garden to play and she surprised them with a local group of children’s entertainers,” a source told Us magazine. “Think juggling, game organizing, races, that type of thing.”

Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne evidently enjoyed the entertainment.

“The kids laughed and screamed all day,” recalled the source. “They were exhausted by the time the troupe left!”

Once again Us proves that celebrities are really not at all like us.
