In the wake of the Amanda Bynes situation, the fact that Britney Spears is still under conservatorship seems to be a bit of a head-scratcher.

Nonetheless, according to E!, Spears’ father requested more money from the conservatorship this week (not a lot, just enough to cover his $1,200 office rent and $16,000 to keep up with his daughter’s affairs). Considering she’s the highest-paid female entertainer, he’s being parsimonious.

Apparently though, she could still be considered a threat to herself and needs adult supervision.
