Britney might be falling for rocker

Is Britney Spears getting serious with a new man? Though both have completed their treatment, her rehab romance with rocker Howie Day seems to be continuing. After a recent night of clubbing, the two reportedly spent the night at the “Toxic” singer’s Beverly Hills pad.

Britney and Howie were first spotted together playing tennis while both were residents at the Promises facility in Malibu. Sources tell Us that while they may have been platonic pals then, they sure aren’t anymore. “Britney really likes him,” one insider confides. “He gets her.”

But is this guy really right for Britney? Besides the fact that people in recovery are generally advised to stay single for a year while they work on themselves, Howie has a rather checkered history, which includes being arrested for allegedly locking a woman in a bathroom. Um, not OK.

Brit, what say you try focusing on the other boys in your life — Sean Preston and Jayden James?

‘Mighty’ Women

Angelina Jolie became fast friends with Mariane Pearl, widow of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl, well before the Oscar winner was scheduled to play her in the film version of Mariane’s book “A Mighty Heart” — and she says their closeness made the role a challenge.

“I was so nervous!” the usually unflappable Angie confesses to Glamour. “I mean, it’s like you’re in a roomful of your closest friends and somebody says, ‘Why don’t you get up and imitate the friend to your left?’ Nobody would want to do that, ever!”

But her bond with Angelina and her partner, Brad Pitt, actually helped the movie come together, Mariane tells the magazine: “I don’t think I would have done it if I didn’t feel a direct connection to Brad and … Angie.”

And the film is a chance to honor her husband’s memory: “[W]ithout the book and movie, he would’ve been known more for the way he died than the way he lived. I couldn’t accept that.”

Asset Management

“Will & Grace” star Debra Messing says her character on the hit sitcom almost had a very different look — thanks to a padded chest.

“When we shot the pilot, I was handed — in the wardrobe — chicken cutlets,” or fake breasts, the actress, now starring in “Purple Violets,” revealed at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday, the New York Daily News reports. “And I wore them.”

“After the show was picked up, at the first fitting, I said, ‘I don’t want to wear these. I actually like the idea that [the character Grace is] completely flat-chested, and I think there’s comedy in that.”

“We shot three episodes, and then I was called to my executive producer’s office. They sat me down and said, ‘We got a call from the president of NBC, and they said, ‘What happened to her boobs?’”

When Debra explained in unprintable terms, network brass “were not happy,” she recalls. “They said, ‘You have to wear them,’ and I said, ‘No.’”

As fans of the show know, Debra got her way — and Grace was all-natural.

Ex Affection

Former spouses Bruce Willis and Demi Moore seem to get along better than most married couples. The action star says he’s totally comfortable with their unconventional “extended family,” which includes three teenage daughters and Demi’s husband, Ashton Kutcher.

“It’s hard for people to understand, but we go on holidays together,” Bruce tells Vanity Fair.

“We still raise our kids together — we still have that bond,” he explains.

“Demi is the mother of my children and Ashton is the stepfather of my children. I’m thrilled that Ashton turned out to be such a great guy. I love Demi, and I know she loves me.”

Imagine if all splits were this amicable. We’d have nothing to write about!

Did Gisele’s Diva Demands Doom Deal?

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen no longer represents Victoria’s Secret — and, according to the New York Post, it’s because she wanted her $5 million paycheck upped. “Her demands were outrageous,” a source sniped, adding, “Victoria’s Secret doesn’t care. They have five new hotter, younger girls debuting next year. And they won’t have to deal with any craziness.” Meow!
