Bobbi Kristina's outlook worsens

As Bobbi Kristina Brown continued to cling to life after being transferred to a new hospital Tuesday, confusing new details emerged on the past and possibly future of Whitney Houston's only daughter.

After Brown was checked into an Atlanta hospital that specializes in neurological issues just days after she was discovered face down in a bathtub, Bobby Brown dropped the first bombshell: His daughter never legally married Nick Gordon, who was raised along with Bobbi Kristina after Houston informally adopted him, according to The Associated Press.

“To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon,” Bobby's attorney said Tuesday night.

Bobbi Kristina had referred repeatedly to her marriage, even as Gordon's relationship with her family soured and her aunt filed a restraining order against him. Last year, she tweeted a picture of their wedding rings with the words “#HappilyMarried. So #InLove.”

Things turned more dire Wednesday, when Fox News reported that Bobbi Kristina's family was already looking at the end.

“It's now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she's pretty much not going to make it,” a source told Fox, saying that doctors are letting the family decide “how long they want to keep her alive.”

Bobby confirmed that police were investigating the circumstances around his daughter's accident, and E! News reported Wednesday that police probing reports that another person may have fled Bobbi Kristina's home in Roswell, Ga., shortly before she was found in the bathtub.

Bobbi Kristina inherited her mother's entire estate in 2012, when Houston drowned in a bathtub in an incident that bears eerie similarities to her daughter's situation.

Bobbi Kristina sent text messages just last week about her mother's death, according to RadarOnline, calling it “pain like your heart has been ripped out of your chest.”
