Things are really getting serious fast between Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds! The new couple has been spotted home-hunting together in NYC.

Though they’ve only been dating for a month or so, the “Green Lantern” co-stars reportedly checked out a three-bedroom, $4.35 million Fifth Avenue penthouse apartment recently.

“When they were done, she left the building first, wearing tall boots, jeans, coat and fedora, and got straight into a Town Car, and then Ryan exited into the same car,” a gawker recalled to the New York Post.

“Her little dog was waiting with the driver in the front seat.”

Next they were sighted scoping another penthouse spread — this one located in Greenwich Village and on the market for a cool $12.85 million. A source told the paper, “It looked like Ryan was buying, but he was strongly relying on Blake’s opinion.”

They make an awfully attractive couple … but it’s awfully soon to be shacking up!

Fateful Trip

Jennifer Hudson is — understandably — very reticent about discussing the tragic events of October 2008, when her sister Julia’s spurned ex allegedly killed their mother and brother and Julia’s 7-year-old son Darnell. But in a new interview, Jennifer opens up to reveal that a fateful visit to watch now-husband David Otunga wrestle at a WWE event in Florida may have spared her own life.

The “Dreamgirls” star, now mother of 2-year-old David Jr., says she had planned to visit her family in her hometown.

David “wanted me to come out to Florida with him instead of going to Chicago. I flew out to see him; that’s why I’m still here,” the Oscar winner recalls to Ebony magazine. “That’s one of the things that saved my life. Because I could have been home with my mum then.”

“I’ve never said that before, and I can’t believe I just said that now,” the singer notes. “But I didn’t know. He was just like, ‘I’m going to this wrestling thing, and it’s in Tampa. I’m going out there now, so you can come out there and see me versus going home.’”

And with that, the Hudson family may well have been spared an even worse tragedy.

Bride-to-Be Britney?

Buzz of an engagement has swirled around Britney Spears and her beau for quite some time now. And now a new report claims that Jason Trawick is so sure she’s the one, he’s shopping for some bride-to-be bling.

The pop star’s former manager and longtime love “has been everywhere from Tiffany to Harry Winston looking for a ring, and he is close to making his final decision,” a source told Radar Online.

“Don’t expect anything too massive or obnoxious,” added the insider. “This ring will be classy and under 4 carats.”

“Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time,” a source close to the family reportedly confided to the tabloid. We certainly approve of Jason. But considering Brit’s just turning 30 and has two divorces under her belt, maybe they should err on the side of giving it more time? Hey, if it’s true love, waiting a little longer to wed shouldn’t matter. …
