Ashton back to work day after Demi files for divorce

AP file photoSources say Ashton Kutcher’s rumored infidelity wasn’t the only problem in his failed marriage to Demi Moore.

Ashton Kutcher was “business as usual” during a “Two and a Half Men” taping Friday, a fan in attendance told People magazine — even though his wife, Demi Moore, had announced the day before that she’s filing for divorce.
Demi also is evidently throwing herself into her professional obligations in the wake of the failed six-year marriage, which she said Thursday she was ending “with great sadness and a heavy heart.”

Now the actress is “moving full-force ahead in terms of work,” a source said.

Perhaps the pair has just made peace with the fact that things weren’t working between them. Problems are said to involve more than just Ashton’s rumored affairs.

Despite efforts to fix the relationship, “Ashton is unhappy; [Demi’s] unhappy,” a source explained of their split. “It just got to a point where they had to end it.”

“The fighting could get pretty intense,” added another insider. “Whatever counseling they did was fine for a quick fix, but could not get to the heart of the problem.”

Coincidentally, Ashton gave an interview to Men’s Health magazine that is just now hitting newsstands in which he was asked to give love advice. The actor opined, “I think it’s all about working on the relationship and making it better … when it’s good. Don’t wait for a problem to work on things.”

Evidently he didn’t follow his own advice. We were hoping these two could pull through.

Secret affair?

Did Scott Disick cheat on baby mama Kourtney Kardashian with fellow reality TV star Kristin Cavallari? A new tabloid report claims he got together with “The Hills” star in 2009 when he and Kourtney were on a so-called break.

Though she had been good friends with Kristin before, “Kourtney was furious” when she caught Scott on a date with her, a source told Life&Style magazine.

But the future dad of Mason, now almost 2, allegedly went on seeing the California blonde behind his girlfriend’s back — right up until he found out Kourtney was expecting.

“Actually, Scott and Kristin were hooking up on and off for a year, maybe even two,” a pal of the Kardashian sisters confided. “When Kourt and Scott would fight, he’d party with Kristin and hook up.”

Whoa, that’s pretty serious — considering we’ve seen how often they fight.

Single lady

Despite rumors that Rihanna had found love with her “We Found Love” video co-star, the sexy songbird says she’s very much single at the moment.

“I’m not dating anyone right now,” RiRi told Ellen DeGeneres, adding that she’s “not necessarily happy being single.”

“I do put a lot into my job — most of my time, if not all of it,” the singer said. “It definitely affects my personal life. My personal life is pretty much nonexistent — which is not good, not for the long run.”

And all those kids out there who rely on the Internet for their social lives: You have an unlikely sympathizer.

“That’s why I stay on Twitter a lot, so I can conversate with my fans,” the Barbadian beauty said, “because I don’t get any booty calls.”

We’re thinking that if Rihanna felt like placing one of those calls herself, not many men would hang up on her.
