SFPD Chief Scott tours Chinatown, North Beach

San Francisco Police Chief William Scott took his first official tour of the Chinatown neighborhood Monday, July 24, 2017, accompanied by numerous community leaders including District 5 Supervisor Aaron Peskin and SFPD Central Station Captain Paul Yep. The group visited key neighborhood spots such as the Chinatown YMCA, Cameron House,Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association and Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory among others. The tour hoped to connect the new chief more closely to the community and speak with residents and business owners on what they’re looking for in a police department. Photos by Jessica Christian/S.F.
