SF-bound BART trains delayed due to equipment problem

BART trains going through downtown Oakland toward San Francisco on Monday morning were being delayed by about 20 minutes because of an equipment problem on a train, according to the transit agency.

BART officials issued an advisory at 9:04 a.m. about the problem, which was affecting westbound trains toward San Francisco International Airport, Daly City and Millbrae.

No information about the nature of the equipment problem was immediately available.
