Pedestrian fatally struck on Hwy 101 near SFO

A pedestrian was struck and killed on U.S. Highway 101 near San Francisco International Airport early Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at around 1:08 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 just north of the SFO off-ramp.

A Sig-alert was issued at 1:25 a.m. when CHP officers closed the highway’s third, fourth and fifth lanes.
