One person was injured in a fire that burned portions of the fifth and sixth floors of an apartment building in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood Friday morning, fire officials said.
The fire in an apartment at 2200 Leavenworth Street was reported at 9:46 a.m., according to the fire department.
The fire was controlled about 10 minutes later and damaged portions of the building’s fifth and sixth floors, fire officials said.
One male victim was injured and taken to a hospital.
