Man run over by truck at SFO loading dock

A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was run over by a truck at San Francisco International Airport Wednesday night, police said.

The collision occurred around 10:45 p.m. in a parking lot on West Field Road, according to police.

The truck was backing into a loading dock when it ran over the 61-year-old man. He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was not arrested, police said.

West Field Road is the location of a number of cargo facilities and a U.S. Postal Service facility, as well as a fire station.
